ABOUT NORTH IDAHO SPORTS COMPLEX
The North Idaho Sports Complex is a non-taxpayer funded facility formed by a group of community members that recognized the increasing shortage of field space and practice facilities catering to non-profit sports groups in our area.
Over the course of the past few years, the group put together a business plan specifically aimed at providing a long-term solution to one of the biggest challenges facing the youth sports groups of area – establishing a place of their own, a place to call home.
For our partners, use of the facility will be through a nominal, multi-year lease agreement in exchange for help in the maintenance and upkeep of the complex. In addition to enhanced player development, because each group will have a long-term lease agreement, they can focus on targeted fundraising and applying for grants not otherwise available to them.
The North Idaho Sports Complex is a centrally located property situated on 80 acres between Coeur d’Alene, Hayden, Rathdrum, and Post Falls. It is the goal of NISC to work with sports groups and local businesses to advance the complex through a phased plan, as dictated by demand and community involvement.
